Jobs › Douglas, MA › Residential Recovery Services - Aw… Open Sky Community Services Residential Recovery Services - Awake Overnight Counselor Douglas, MA Apply Description and Responsibilities The Oasis program partner's with Harrington Hospital to provide 6-12 months of residential recovery services to 16 adults who have both mental health and substance use disorders. Oasis is not a typical group home environment - our model is to support all paths to wellness and recovery including yoga, meditation, smart recovery, therapy animals, 12-step programs, and more. Awake Overnight Counselors provide guidance, support, and help individuals live as independently as possible. Through implementing procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals and general cleanliness and safety of the physical site, counselors ensure individuals are living a healthy, productive, and independent life.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Complete basic housekeeping, filing, shift logs, observe and/or support individuals in taking their medications. Must remain awake and alert for the entirety of shift (overnight). Assisted daily living skills, morning transports and supports to individuals as necessary. Exercise good judgment and communicate/ask for support from the team and supervisors when needed. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required. Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record, required. Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.
