Residential Counselor II -
Weekend Part-Time & Relief Friday-Sunday Opportunities South Shore Communities:
Braintree, North Weymouth, Rockland, and Scituate Pay Range:
$20.00 - $22.43/hour•Final offers are based on experience, qualifications, skill set, and location.Sign-On Bonus:
$1,000 for eligible part-time staff (20-30 hours/week); bonuses paid in two installments; terms apply. (Not applicable to relief/per diem staff.) About the Role We are seeking Residential Counselor II staff for weekend coverage (Friday-Sunday) to support individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in supervised residential settings. This posting is open to candidates interested in: Weekend Part-Time roles with regularly scheduled hours, and/or Relief (Per Diem) work providing as-needed weekend coverage In this role, you will promote dignity, independence, safety, and community inclusion while administering medications in accordance with Massachusetts MAP regulations . Current MAP certification is required for this position. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living Administer medications and complete required MAP documentation Promote health, safety, and person-centered supports Support individuals with in-home and community-based activities Maintain a safe, respectful, and empowering residential environment Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors Qualifications Current MAP certification (required) CPR / First Aid certification High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Strong communication, teamwork, and judgment skills •CORI and fingerprinting required for all positions. Schedule & Employment Details Weekend shifts: Friday-Sunday (day, evening, and overnight shifts may be available) Part-time hours may be scheduled and consistent Relief/per diem shifts are flexible and based on program needs Paid training and orientation provided Why This Role Matters As a Residential Counselor II, your MAP certification helps ensure medication accuracy and safety during critical weekend hours.
