Immediately Job Description Make a Difference. Be the Reason a Child Succeeds. Brandon Residential Treatment Center is seeking caring, dependable Residential Counselors to support boys and young men in a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment. You'll play a key role in daily routines, emotional support, and life skill development.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with youth using a strength-based approach.
  • Supervise and engage residents in daily routines, life skills, and recreational activities.
  • Support meal prep, cleaning, and laundry to maintain a safe, home-like setting.
  • Facilitate social and life skills groups.
  • Administer medications (MAP certification required, training provided).
  • Complete all documentation accurately and on time. Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum one year experience working in human services/ mental health field preferred.
  • Must have a valid ID and
CORI/ DCF
background check.
  • Able to participate in physical interventions.
  • MAP certified a plus.
Schedule:
Overnight Shift Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday
Salary:
Starting at $18.00/ hour w/
MAP Certification:
$21.00/ hour
