At Stevens Treatment Programs, we support adolescents navigating complex behavioral and mental health challenges—often rooted in trauma and adverse life experiences. Through a structured, trauma-informed residential and educational environment, we help young people build stability, resilience, and the skills they need to move forward with confidence. The Role As a Residential Counselor, you are a steady, reliable presence in a young person's life. You'll mentor, guide, and support youth through daily routines, challenges, and milestones—helping them build trust, confidence, and coping skills that last far beyond their time in our care. You'll work alongside clinicians and educators to bring individualized treatment plans to life in meaningful, practical ways. What You'll Do Build supportive, consistent relationships with youth Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Partner with clinical and education teams to support treatment goals Coach youth in coping skills, emotional regulation, and daily living skills Respond calmly and effectively during moments of crisis Who You Are Patient, grounded, and emotionally intelligent Reliable and consistent—someone others can count on Comfortable in fast-moving, high-impact environments Motivated by purpose-driven work that truly matters
Schedule Options Full-Time:
2nd Shift 2pm-10pm Relief / Fill-In Opportunities Available 8am-4pm / 2pm-10pm & Shorter Shifts Available We prioritize balance and sustainability—your time outside of work is respected.
