About Us Our small nonprofit has been providing valuable quality services for adults with developmental disabilities in the Durham community since 1974. Come join our friendly and hard-working team! Your Role We are looking for a self-directed, energetic, team-oriented person with a minimum of two years related experience and degree in a human service field to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Key Responsibilities
Hiring, supervising and training direct care staff
Scheduling direct care staff and obtaining substitutes and/or working periodically for live-in staff as needed
Providing transportation as needed for medical appointments, activity attendance, etc.
Supervising facilities repair and maintenance
Supporting a clinical caseload of 12-15 individuals
Completing all required paperwork by deadlines (plans, authorizations, FL2s, etc.)
On-call responsibilities at least every fifth week so candidate must be located in Triangle area. Qualifications
NC Innovations, community living supports and 1915i supervisory experience a plus
Familiarity with Therap and Relias platforms a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
QDDP status required
Strong communication skills required
Excellent references and clean criminal and driving record required.
