Job Description
Ambleside, Inc. is a provider of Residential and Day Support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and Autism. We have been providing services throughout North Carolina since 1991. We currently serve over 25 members in our Residential and HCBS programs. We work diligently, daily, to ensure that our members are not just maintaining their quality of life, but increasing their quality of life. We are in search of an Day Support Assistant who will help us achieve this mission. The Day Support Assistant will be responsible for the following 1) Develop a relationship with the members in our program, and obtain a working knowledge of their current skill levels, preferences, and favored community destinations 2) Assist the Activities Director with implementing routine, structure, and consistency 3) Participate in the structured activities within the day program to ensure that members are having meaningful days 4) Attend monthly events, to include (but are not limited to); cookouts, birthday celebrations, field days, field trips, etc.
