SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Residential Navigators provide direct support and supervision to individuals admitted to the Crisis Stabilization and Resource Center. They work collaboratively with clinical staff to implement stabilization plans, support emotional regulation, and assist clients in achieving short-term stabilization goals. The Residential Navigator ensures a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients during their stay. This role focuses on ongoing engagement, skill-building, and reinforcement of coping strategies to reduce immediate crisis symptoms and promote stabilization. Residential Navigators assist clients in identifying triggers, practicing coping skills, and connecting to internal and external supports. They play a key role in monitoring client progress, supporting daily routines, and reinforcing treatment goals to help clients transition successfully to the next level of care or back into the community.Compensation:
between $19.74 and $23.54 per hour (wage is determined by total years of relevant experience)Work Schedule:

Two years direct care experience in human service field; two years of training in human service field OR a Bachelor's degree or higher In psychology, sociology or related human service field which is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide ongoing supervision and support to clients in the stabilization unit Develop supportive, professional relationships with clients and respond to their needs during scheduled shifts Assist in implementing individualized stabilization plans in collaboration with clinical staff Support clients in developing and practicing coping skills, emotional regulation, and crisis management strategies Facilitate and/or assist with psychoeducational groups and skill-building activities Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed Monitor client behavior, safety, and overall well-being throughout shift Conduct and document routine safety checks, room searches, and environmental checks Support clients with activities of daily living and maintaining daily structure Monitor client self-administration of medications and follow documentation procedures Communicate client progress, concerns, and observations to clinical team and incoming staff during shift changes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program and regulatory standards Utilize trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally responsive approaches in all interactions Assist clients in identifying supports and resources for discharge planning Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including common areas and staff spaces Submit maintenance requests as needed Respond to emails, phone calls, and other communications in a professional and timely manner Able to work both independently, with little supervision, and as part of a team Always display a courteous and caring attitude to clientele, volunteers, and visitors Abide by all program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance Cooperate and collaborate with program staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Create, maintain, and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan Support agency efforts in community engagement, outreach, and relationship building Essential functions of this job are to be performed on company physical work site Perform other program-related duties as assignedDENOTES ESSENTIAL JOB
