Job Description:
Residential Assistant Manager We are seeking a compassionate and organized Residential Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a residential program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role works closely with the Residence Manager to ensure quality care, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and a safe, supportive environment for residents. Schedule Must work one weekend day per week Two consecutive days off weekly: Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday Day and evening shifts (example: 8 AM-4 PM or 10 AM-6 PM) No overnight shifts Responsibilities Supervise and support direct care staff Assist with staff scheduling and coverage Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations Support residents' daily care, programs, and medical needs Maintain safety, documentation, and overall smooth operation of the residence Participate in staff training and performance support Qualifications High School Diploma or HSE required 12-18 months of related experience Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Knowledge of OPWDD regulations preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Supervisory experience in a residential setting is a plus
