Job Title:
Resident Relations Assistant Reports to:
Property Manager Job Summary:
The Resident Relations Assistant is the main point of contact for current residents that live at the community. Providing a high level of customer service and striving for resident satisfaction in all interactions throughout the day. Assists with renewals and resident engagement both at the community level and online.
Job Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents via phone, email, text and in-person visits. Collaborate with property managers, resident relations manager, maintenance teams, to coordinate make ready dates, move in dates, and any other details that will help ensure resident satisfaction. Communicate regularly with residents and team members. Great customer service skills. Effectively plan resident events and execute each event. Resident Retention. Social media engagement. Assist Property Manager and Resident Relations Manager as needed. Creates and oversees move in experience for new resident Develop and maintain positive relations with residents. Required Skills /
Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task Ability to act with a high level of ethics and integrity and must maintain confidentiality, and follow legal and ethical guidelines in all your dealings Proficient with Microsoft Office, leasing software, digital marketing & social media Excellent customer service is crucial in this role
Education and Experience:
3-5 years customer service experience 1-3 years in property management industry
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
