This service is primarily provided on a group basis onsite and in the community. Structured day program services include supervision and specific training which may include social skills training sensory/motor development reduction/elimination of maladaptive behavior and preparing the individual for community reintegration (teaching concepts such as compliance, attending, tasks completion, problem solving, safety, money management, etc.). Essential Functions Promotes and maintains safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance of the milieu using person first language, safe crisis intervention, and trauma informed care while treating residents with dignity and respect. Familiarize, implement, and contribute to the individuals' plan/assessments. Provides structured habilitation which includes reaching their plan goals by offering skill building techniques, coaching, role modeling, and emotional and behavioral support both individually and in groups with their peers. These areas include, but not limited: encourage residents to attend Structured Day Program, facilitate group activities, maintaining personal hygiene, medication management, assisting with ADLs/IADLs, completing room organization, assisting in milieu maintenance, budgeting, social participation/community integration, attending medical and wellness appointments, pre-education and vocational support, problem solving, etc.as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

General:

Required:

Be 18 years of age or older Be free from a medical condition, including drug or alcohol addiction, which would limit direct care staff persons from providing necessary personal care services with reasonable skill and safety. 2.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED. 3.

Experience:

Required:
