This role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $17.00 to $18.77, based on directly related experience. In this role, you will provide daily support, supervision, and psycho-social education to residents in an adult residential setting. Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation, hygiene, and household responsibilities Build positive relationships with residents while providing encouragement, structure, and psycho-social education Supervise residents and promote adherence to program rules, offering redirection and support as needed Monitor and guide self-medication procedures while ensuring proper documentation Plan and facilitate recreational and psycho-educational activities to enhance resident engagement and wellbeing Assist with resident admissions by reviewing referrals and supporting eligibility processes when applicable Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and incident reporting Monitor resident funds and document all financial transactions in accordance with program guidelines Conduct room inspections and support residents in maintaining cleanliness and personal care Communicate effectively with team members regarding resident needs, incidents, and daily updates Education, Experience, and/orCredential Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working in mental health treatment settings required Experience in residential services preferred Knowledge of behavioral health, residential care, and client support techniques preferredAdditional Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted driver's license required Strong communication skills across verbal, written, and in-person interactions Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced residential environment Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals with mental health needs Physical Requirements Sit for extended periods (approximately 80% of the time) Stand periodically throughout shifts (approximately 20% of the time) Perform occasional bending, kneeling, and squatting Drive occasionally for program-related needs Lift and carry items occasionally as neededTime Type:
