Join Patriot Assisted Living community and work three 12-hour shifts per week while enjoying four days off. Alternate 4 days next week with 3 days off. Full-time position with a consistent schedule. Only 16 residents. Small team. No Hospital Chaos Home-like environment Same Residents Duties Monitor residents throughout the night to ensure safety and respond promptly to their needs or emergencies Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, mobility assistance, and hygiene routines Conduct regular checks on residents' vital signs and overall health status using appropriate medical equipment Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, utilizing specialized techniques for behavior management and engagement Assist with meal preparation and feeding for residents requiring help during overnight hours Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, and care equipment to promote a healthy environment Document incidents, resident observations, and care activities thoroughly in compliance with facility policies Use proper lifting techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely assist with resident transfers when needed Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or long-term care settings preferred; experience with home & community care is a plus Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and memory support techniques Certification or training in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes Ability to assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license preferred for transportation duties if applicable Join us in providing exceptional night-time care that makes a real difference!
