Carrington Developmental Support Services is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals and families to become Sponsored Residential Care Providers for children and adolescents with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities What We Provide Carrington follows a structured, DBHDS-compliant approval process and ensures providers receive: Required pre-service and ongoing training CPR/First Aid and medication management training Regular monitoring and supervision by a designated residential coordinator Assistance with documentation and regulatory compliance Ongoing guidance and professional support You are never alone in this role — you will have a complete support community behind you. Compensation Monthly compensation based on the evaluated support needs of the child/adolescent Designed to provide a "living wage" Funds may be tax-free under applicable United States Internal Revenue Code guidelines Requirements To become a Sponsored Residential Care Provider, you must: Complete a preliminary application with references and household information Attend orientation to learn about the program and DBHDS requirements Ensure all household members age 16+ complete required screenings Pass home review and safety inspections Complete required DBHDS-mandated training Ideal Candidates Compassionate individuals or families with a stable home environment Patient, responsible, and committed to supporting youth development Willing to complete training and maintain compliance standards Passionate about making a lasting difference Duties As a Sponsored Residential Care Provider, you will: Provide a safe, stable, and supportive home environment You will serve as the primary support in the home while receiving guidance from a full professional support team.
