Competitive salary Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Position Overview The Residential Aide supports the daily safety, supervision, and care of residents in a residential behavioral health setting. This role assists with monitoring, daily activities, and maintaining a structured, supportive environment. The Residential Aide is a non-clinical position and works closely with clinical and program staff. Every other weekend required for position schedule. Key Responsibilities Monitor residents to ensure safety and well-being Provide supervision and support during daily activities Assist with unit routines, meals, and scheduled activities Maintain a calm, respectful, and structured environment Use approved de-escalation techniques when needed Follow safety, emergency, and incident-reporting procedures Document observations and incidents as required Support staff during admissions, discharges, and transitions Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience in residential, behavioral health, or human services preferred Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow policies, procedures, and direction Must pass background check and fingerprinting requirements Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility Ability to respond quickly to emergencies Ability to assist with resident supervision throughout shifts Why Join Us Meaningful work supporting individuals in crisis Supportive team environment Training provided Opportunities for growth and advancement
