Woodstock Terrace Assisted Living in beautiful Woodstock, VT is hiring a full time Resident Assistant for day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and care to residents in a home care setting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment.
• Support residents in maintaining a clean and organized living space.
• Drive residents to appointments, outings, and social activities.
• Utilize computer systems to document resident information and communicate with the team.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
• Experience in social work or direct support is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
