Your energetic and proactive approach will help create a warm, safe, and engaging community for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and residents requiring memory or dementia care. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs to ensure residents' health stability and communicate changes to healthcare professionals Support residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments through personalized engagement and behavior management strategies Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition for residents with specific dietary needs Help coordinate social activities and recreational programs to promote social interaction and mental well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Qualifications Prior experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly desirable Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges preferred Familiarity with vital signs measurement, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer's care techniques Ability to assist with ADLs using appropriate caregiving tools such as Hoyer lifts or mobility aids Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude towards residents' needs This rewarding role is perfect for compassionate individuals eager to support others in a vibrant community setting.
