Life Enrichment Assistant

Sunday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional to support and enrich the lives of seniors through engaging programs and personalized care. This role focuses on planning meaningful activities, providing daily assistance, and delivering specialized support for individuals with dementia within assisted living and memory care settings. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging events and activities tailored to senior residents Provide attentive care and support with activities of daily living, ensuring residents' comfort and well-being Deliver specialized dementia care using evidence-based techniques to promote engagement and quality of life Develop and implement recreational therapy programs that support physical, cognitive, and emotional health Maintain and manage activity schedules to ensure seamless coordination of programs and services Collaborate with social workers and care teams to address age-related needs and provide appropriate support Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents in assisted living and memory care Qualifications Proven experience in event planning, preferably within senior or healthcare settings Strong knowledge of dementia care practices and person-centered support strategies Familiarity with recreational therapy concepts and senior-focused programming Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional, and social needs of older adults Excellent organizational and time management skills Background in social work, counseling, or a related field is preferred Prior experience in assisted living or memory care environments is highly desirable Requirements Ability to pass a background check or obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card Current certification in CPR and First Aid Valid Food Handler's Card Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is empathetic, organized, and passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
