Activities Assistant Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing activity programs for residents in Memory Care Engage residents in therapeutic and recreational activities based on their interests and abilities Provide one-on-one support and encouragement to residents during activities Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team to assess residents' needs and preferences Maintain documentation of activity participation and resident progress Ensure a safe and supportive environment during activities Encourage socialization and meaningful interactions among residents Assist with setting up and cleaning activity areas Attend training and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in Memory Care activities
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with seniors, particularly those with memory impairments, is preferred Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in enhancing residents' quality of life Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
