Life Enrichment Assistant - Garden Creek

The Life Enrichment Assistant supports the development and execution of a vibrant Life Enrichment Program that enhances seniors' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being and reduces isolation. This role assists in creating, scheduling and delivering meaningful and engaging activities. Programs include arts and crafts, community games, shopping, cultural and nature-based outings, and parties with live music. This role requires creativity and administrative skills, paired with curiosity, patience and compassion. The Life Enrichment Assistant's time is divided between behind-the-scenes planning, day-to-day facilitation of activities, and relationship building with residents. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute activities, outings, and special events Accompany outings and support on-site events Build strong relationships with residents & encourage engagement Develop, publish and post monthly activities calendars Lead exercise and / or craft classes Set up and facilitate activities including games, theme parties and special events Collaborate with Marketing to capture content for promotional use Qualifications Organization and communication skills Creative, solution-based problem solver Positive, observant, and patient personality Computer skills, including experience with Canva, a plus Experience in senior living, recreation, event planning, or related field preferred Must be able to lift 20 pounds, walk and stand for long periods of time
