Mentor/ Life Coach:

Working with adults with developmental disabilities to create a better quality of life by building an action plan with steps towards independence, while also helping our members stay motivated, and achieve their goals. Must provide valid drivers license and valid car insurance. Must have own car.

Job responsibilities:

Must be able to work 2 weekends a month

Teach:

cooking classes, budgeting, how to schedule appointments Take clients to appointments (you must stay, walk in with them and take notes)

Health & Fitness:

Workout alongside group members at the gym, while teaching the correct way to workout Tutoring as needed Other duties as requested Must be flexible. Qualifications Strong communication skills and ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Experience in home and community care, caregiving, and direct support Knowledge of behavioral health and behavior management techniques Some college education Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
