Recovery Coach 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Ledyard, CT 06338 Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation 33 reviews Under the supervision of the Manager, the incumbent serves as a Recovery Coach to support individuals in recovery within the community and in local emergency departments. This position is for a someone who is in recovery with at least one (1) year of continuous abstinence from substance abuse problems. The incumbent will serve as a recovery coach to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorder, including opioid use disorder, in hospital emergency departments and within MPTN community serving as a motivator, recovery resource broker, mentor and liaison. High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Willingness to complete CCAR Recovery Coach training to include: certificates of completion of the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy, Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches, Spirituality for Recovery Coaches and Recovery Coaching in Professional Settings or have a CCAR certification. Must obtain required certifications within 6 months of hire. Must have basic knowledge and understanding of culturally sensitive needs of the population being served. A valid drivers license, insurance and reliable vehicle required. Must maintain a valid driver's license; must provide a yearly DMV Certified Driving History. Must have CPR and First Aid Certification. Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy and handle confidential and sensitive matters is essential. Due to grant funding, these positions are expected to end on September 30, 2030.
