A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1960. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are looking for an Activities Aide
- Life Enrichment. Full-time schedule includes Every Other Weekend and some holidays. $15 per hour. Activities Aide
Life Enrichment Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent. Experience providing Nursing Home activities and enrichment to seniors required. HHA or CNA certification preferred. Activities Aide

Life Enrichment Job Summary:
Assist in planning, organizing and implementing the activities programs of the facility. Interview residents or family members to obtain activity information. Assist the Activity Director with preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of each resident. Review assessments as necessary, but at least quarterly. Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents. Encourage residents to participate in hobbies and crafts; provide materials as necessary. Assist in the transportation of residents to activities. Complete floor bulletin boards on a monthly basis. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive. Life Enrichment Qualifications Working Conditions:
Working conditions consist of bending, long periods of standing, sitting, and moving intermittently. Must assist in the evacuation of residents as needed. Must be able to lift equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of twenty five (25) pounds. May be required to works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays as necessary.
