Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services Assistant (PRSA) Winston Manor - 1.0 Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Qualifications Computer literacy Full Job Description Winston Manor is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services Assistant (PRSA). This role supports residents with psychosocial, behavioral, and emotional needs while encouraging engagement, independence, and daily participation within a structured healthcare environment. The PRSA works closely with residents and interdisciplinary teams to help create a supportive, therapeutic, and resident-centered atmosphere focused on dignity, well-being, and quality of life.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Assisting residents with psychosocial and behavioral support needs through daily interaction and engagement Supporting recreational, social, and life skills activities for residents Encouraging resident participation and positive social interaction Assisting with behavior management through supportive communication and de-escalation techniques Observing and reporting resident behaviors or concerns to leadership as appropriate Assisting with documentation related to resident participation and activities Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care and programming Helping maintain a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment
What We're Looking For:
Previous healthcare, behavioral health, or resident care experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Strong organizational and teamwork skills Basic computer and documentation abilities Ability to meet standard health and background requirements
