Job Description
For All Seasons is seeking a Veteran and Military Community Connector to serve as a visible and trusted representative of For All Seasons Center for Veterans and Military Families across the Mid-Shore region. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with veteran and military-serving organizations, community partners, public agencies, civic groups, employers, faith-based organizations, and other stakeholders connected to veterans, service members, and military families. The Veteran and Military Community Connector supports awareness and engagement efforts by strengthening community partnerships, improving referral pathways, increasing program visibility, and helping identify community needs and service gaps. This position plays an important role in supporting the Center's growth and sustainability through relationship development, outreach, and collaboration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Community Relationship Building and Partner Engagement Build and maintain relationships with veteran and military-serving organizations, nonprofit partners, public agencies, civic organizations, faith-based groups, employers, and community stakeholders. Represent For All Seasons and the Center for Veterans and Military Families at community meetings, coalitions, outreach events, and engagement opportunities. Communicate agency services, access points, and resources with professionalism and cultural awareness. Strengthen referral relationships and community partnerships to improve access to services and external resources. Identify organizations, leaders, and stakeholders that support the Center's community network. Maintain regular communication with leadership regarding community needs, opportunities, and barriers. Program Visibility and Outreach Increase awareness of the Center for Veterans and Military Families throughout the region. Participate in community events, resource fairs, partner meetings, and community engagement activities. Educate community partners about For All Seasons behavioral health services, rape crisis services, Open Access model, Center for Learning, and care coordination supports. Share approved program materials and communicate community feedback to leadership. Support a consistent and professional community presence for the Center. Program Development Support Gather information related to community needs, service gaps, access barriers, and collaboration opportunities. Support leadership in identifying ways to strengthen referral pathways and community engagement efforts. Assist with tracking outreach activity, partner engagement, and program growth indicators. Provide observations and recommendations that support program development and sustainability. Referral and Team Coordination Recognize when community members or partners may benefit from services and facilitate connection to appropriate staff or resources. Coordinate with internal teams regarding partner relationships, community resources, and referral pathways. Participate in team meetings and collaborative planning efforts. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of outreach activities, partner meetings, and relationship updates using designated systems. Additional Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the role. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Military service, military family experience, or professional experience working with military-connected populations strongly preferred. Experience in community engagement, outreach, nonprofit partnerships, veteran services, public service, human services, or related fields preferred. Strong understanding of military culture and barriers to accessing care preferred. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse community partners. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills. Ability to represent For All Seasons professionally and maintain confidentiality. Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed for community meetings and events.
Pay:
$54,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
