Life Enrichment Assistant -
Weekends/Part-time Schedule:
16 hours per week | Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 AM - 5:30
PM Pay:
Starting at $20/hour Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults? The Cedars Assisted Living Community is seeking a compassionate and energetic Life Enrichment Assistant to help bring joy, connection, and meaningful engagement to our residents' weekends. In this role, you will lead activities that promote wellness, creativity, and social connection — from exercise classes and games to arts and crafts, relaxation programs, and special social events. Our Life Enrichment Team supports residents in building friendships, gaining confidence, and fully enjoying community life.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support a variety of engaging activities that stimulate residents physically, mentally, and socially Foster meaningful connections and encourage friendships among residents Share your talents, interests, and enthusiasm to create a vibrant community atmosphere Assist with resident visits and support staff during meal times Step in wherever needed to help make weekends special for our residents
Qualifications:
Experience working with seniors, preferably in assisted living or dementia care Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about supporting older adults High school diploma or equivalent required Willingness to obtain Personal Support Specialist (PSS) certification Why Join Us?
