Life Enrichment Assistant Schedule:
Full Time | 40 hours per week | 8 am

Holland, MI What You'll Do In This Role:
Bring joy, purpose, and connection to every day. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you'll design and lead engaging programs that support participants' health, independence, and personal goals and help them remain at home or in the least restrictive setting possible. Through meaningful activities at the center and out in the community or home, you'll inspire participation, foster social connection, and enhance overall quality of life while tailoring experiences to each individual's interests and abilities. 30 / hour Reporting To Christopher Bourgeois Key Responsibilities Participant Assessment, Care Planning, Engagement, and Autonomy Conduct leisure assessments to understand each participant's needs, abilities, and goals Develop person-centered care plans that support participants' individual needs and goals of care Ensure the care plan is aligned with participants' desires to remain at home and promotes their overall health and well-being Report any changes in a participant's condition to the Center Operations Manager or relevant members of the interdisciplinary team immediately Program Development, Implementation, Facilitation, and Support Develop, implement, and evaluate active movement and life enrichment programs that enhance participants' health, function, and abilities Ensure all life enrichment programs align with the participant's goals of care and support their desire to remain at home Actively seek input from the entire Life Enrichment team when planning and developing programs Use Positive Approach to Care (PAC) methods to promote positive and effective participant engagement Safety, Compliance & Documentation Ensure thorough, accurate, and timely documentation that complies with organizational and regulatory policies and standards Sanitize equipment after each use by participants and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Adhere to all LifeCircles policies, procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory standards Obtain supervisory approval for the purchase of equipment and supplies, and manage supplies effectively in accordance with the department's budget Collaboration & Teamwork Collaborate effectively with the day center CENA team and other staff to support life enrichment programming and participant care Coordinate and collaborate with placement facilities to ensure participants' leisure needs are being met Uphold the vision, mission, and values of LifeCircles and engage in a manner that supports the organization's workplace culture The above is a summary of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties this position will be required to perform. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Recreational Therapist (certified or non-certified), Certified Activity Director from an accredited program or university Must have reliable transportation and a current valid Michigan driver's license Must possess current CPR certification by AHA or be willing and able to obtain as offered by LifeCircles Minimum of 2 years working in a health care environment Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail elderly, or long-term care population, preferred Job Benefits Career Growth & Development
