Our residents enjoy a full range of social/cultural programs and activities while residing in our assisted living communities. JSL is looking for actively engaged candidates to join our team and enhance the lives of our residents. This position plans, organizes, and directs; educational, social, wellness activities and events for residents of Jewish Senior Life in our senior living community. This position supports life enrichment activities in our Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care floors. This part time position works weekdays with special events as needed on weekends, evenings and holidays.

Essential Duties:

This position reports directly to our Life Enrichment/Activity Director. They will assist residents in developing interpersonal relationships, socialize effectively and to help them to thrive in a communal living setting by developing these increased socialization opportunities. Direct and organize enriching activities/programs such as: Exercise Cultural programs Wellness programs Arts/crafts Out Trips Regulates content of programs in accordance with resident's needs and encourages participation.

Education:

College coursework or degree in therapeutic recreation or related discipline preferred. Certification a plus.

Skills/ Experience:

1-3 Years experience working with seniors in a life enrichment/activities role. Memory care experience a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient in Microsoft office products, including Outlook Experienced in Canva or similar design applications Creative and energetic Compassionate toward seniors
