Job Description

Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone is hiring a Parent Aide in Rolla North Dakota Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone is seeking a Parent Aide for the Child Welfare/Family Services Department. This role provides support services to families aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect, reducing foster care placements, and assisting with family reunification.
Parent Aide example of duties:
Participate in developing a family plan and provide parenting instruction through demonstration Guide families in performing household tasks and improving organization Share information on community resources and available support services Supervise parenting time for children placed out of the home Accurately document activities using electronic visit verification and/or paper logs To succeed in this position, you should have strong verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to collaborate and make sound decisions. You demonstrate attention to detail, effectively manage time and priorities, and bring empathy, teamwork, and a genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in the community To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care to special populations. If unable to fill as a Parent Aide, Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone will consider filling as a Direct Care Associate underfill, which requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of work experience providing direct care to special populations. Salary will be adjusted if the position is filled with an underfill. This role includes providing transportation as needed and supporting families in developing the skills necessary to use public transportation independently. Frequent travel throughout the Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone is required. Working for
