Job Description

A Child's Hope Int'l is a Christian non-profit organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are focused on the problem that 1 in 6 children face extreme poverty, abuse or life in an unstable home. Guided by the love of Jesus, A Child's Hope Int'l works with trusted partners in Cincinnati and around the world to help children thrive by providing families with food, clean water, and wholistic care.
Position Summary:
Would you like to use your customer service and administrative skills to make a difference in the lives of children in Cincinnati and internationally? The Ministry Support Coordinator supports the mission of A Child's Hope International (ACHI) by creating a welcoming and organized environment for volunteers, guests, and partners. This role provides exceptional hospitality and administrative support through volunteer coordination, meal pack hosting, and event assistance. The Coordinator manages daily office operations, including communications, scheduling, supply management, and document organization, while supporting the Executive Director with calendar coordination and meeting preparation. Additionally, this position maintains donor and financial records through accurate data entry in ACHI's donor management system.
Summary of Responsibilities:
1. Hospitality & Volunteer Coordination
  • Provide welcome / hosting services for meal packs, including sign-ins
  • Provide greeting, hosting, and coordination of weekday volunteers
  • Provide event management for outside groups
  • Assist with ACHI special event management
  • Assist with follow-up of groups, donors, vendors, and contacts 2. Administrative & Office Management
  • Open and close the ACHI office each day
  • Answer phones and retrieve voicemails
  • Provide point of contact for all general inquiries (emails, phone calls, etc.)
  • Keep inventory of supplies and reorder as needed Support team operations through occasional errands and logistical assistance
  • Continual organization and structure of OneDrive files
  • Administrative tasks including document preparation, compiling documents for meetings, and updating policies and procedures 3. Executive & Calendar Support
  • Assist the Executive Director with scheduling support.
  • Manage calendars and coordinates facilities for meetings
  • Provide details about the ministry to drop-in guests. 4. Financial & Data Management
  • Update the donor management database
  • Financial administrative functions as assigned including, daily deposits, recording, and reporting.
Compilation of Key Performance Indicator Reporting Requirements:
o Mature and personal Christian faith o Able to acknowledge and affirm the statement of faith of A Child's Hope Int'l. o Committed to the mission, vision, and values of A Child's Hope Int'l. o Great hospitality and organizational skills, with attention to detail. o Experience within people-centered settings focused on customer satisfaction o Able to work 2 Saturday shifts per month (8am to 1pm) o Experience in Microsoft Office required o Experience in Quickbooks preferred.

Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
