Social Services Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Services Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, both individually and by supporting our social services caseworkers, you will provide essential support to individuals and families navigating complex social challenges. This is a part-time position working 10 -20 hours per week with flexible scheduling and no degree required. The position provides supportive services in our Child and Adult Protective Services unit by performing a variety of duties such as arranging, observing, and documenting supervised visitations at the agency; arranging and providing transportation for children as requested by social services caseworkers or supervisors; accompanying caseworkers on home visits; and other duties as assigned, including some clerical and administrative support tasks. This is an unclassified position (i.e. NOT a classified civil service position) and is NOT an on-call or standby position.
