Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Legal Support Coordinator to supervise and coordinate the daily workflow of legal administrative assistants supporting transactional practice areas such as corporate, M&A, tax, and real estate. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on legal administrative support to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service for attorneys and legal teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, leadership experience, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily workflow of approximately 8 legal administrative assistants. Monitor work assignments and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Review administrative procedures and recommend process improvements. Conduct performance evaluations, mentor team members, and assist with training and onboarding. Maintain timecards, time-off requests, and remote work requests for team members. Prepare, edit, proofread, and redline legal documents including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings. Coordinate closing materials and assemble closing binders. Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel. Enter attorney time entries and maintain electronic and paper client files. Assist with administrative tasks such as client intake, conflict checks, billing coordination, and expense reports.Qualifications:
High school diploma required. Minimum 5 years of corporate/transactional legal administrative assistant experience. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of legal document formatting, styles, and track changes. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document management systems.Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:
