Company Overview:
Communities for People (CFP) is a non-profit agency serving youth and families through community-based programs and services. You will be instrumental in helping youth and families achieve permanency, independence and integration into the community. You will gain professional experience and exposure to the child welfare system.
EOE Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure individual records are maintained to licensing and accreditation standards. Development and oversight of treatment planning Ensuring implementation of family centered practice Providing regular visits and supervision of youth Attaining housing and working with Landlords Providing life skill instructions Advocacy role for the clients Maintain collateral contacts Facilitates case conferences and discharge conferences for clients Coordinating psychiatric, psychological, medical and dental appointments Actively participating in staff meeting and group supervision Providing support to program staff Crisis management Provide on-call support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Social Work or related field required At least 1 year child welfare experience preferred Must have valid driver's license and transportation. Organizational skills and attention to detail Adheres to timelines Interpersonal skills Knowledge of community resources Excellent writing skills
