Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and dedicated PHC Community Liaison-Outreach Worker to serve as a vital link between our organization and the community. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and experience in community engagement. In this role, you will develop outreach programs, foster community relationships, and promote health initiatives that align with our mission to improve public health outcomes. Duties Develop and implement community outreach strategies aimed at increasing awareness of health services and resources. Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, stakeholders, and community leaders to facilitate collaborative efforts. Conduct public speaking engagements and informational sessions to educate diverse populations about health programs and services. Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision to support outreach activities effectively. Coordinate program development efforts, including planning events, workshops, and health fairs that promote community engagement. Collect and analyze data related to outreach activities to measure impact and identify areas for improvement. Manage social media platforms and marketing materials to enhance community visibility and participation in programs. Skills Proven , program development, and project management. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams of volunteers and staff. Excellent public speaking abilities combined with effective marketing strategies. Knowledge of social media management tools and data collection methods relevant to community outreach. Background in addiction counseling, public health, or social work is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in fundraising, recruiting, and administrative tasks. Ability to teach or train others on health-related topics while fostering an inclusive environment. Pay:
$18.00 per hour
