Job Description

At the Crossroads (ATC) is a private-pay, co-ed young adult transitional living program located in downtown St. George, Utah. We serve clients ages 18-25 who are working toward greater independence, emotional wellness, and life success. ATC provides residential housing and outpatient clinical services, including: Individual therapy Group therapy Family therapy Life skills coaching Medication management Clients live in family-style residences throughout downtown St. George while attending school, maintaining employment, and integrating directly into the local community. Our clients are independent young adults. However, many enter ATC struggling with challenges such as: Anxiety and depression Substance use issues Electronics and technology overuse Autism spectrum disorder Executive functioning deficits Avoidance and dependency patterns Emotional immaturity and entitlement behaviors Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, mature, and motivated individual to work at one of our male residences in downtown St. George. This position works closely with the clinical team and primary life coaches (referred to internally as "colleagues") to help implement treatment plans and support residents in developing healthy routines, accountability, emotional regulation, and independent living skills. The shift is Sunday through Thursday 2:30 pm - 10:30pm Primary Responsibilities Support residents in following daily schedules and treatment expectations Assist with transportation, community integration, and appointments as needed Encourage healthy communication, accountability, and emotional regulation Help maintain structure and safety within the residence Collaborate with clinicians, life coaches, and leadership regarding client progress and concerns Model professionalism, boundaries, and healthy independent living skills Assist residents with life skills development including budgeting, organization, hygiene, meal preparation, and time management Document incidents, concerns, and observations appropriately Support residents in school, employment, and community participation goals Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Calm, emotionally mature, and professional Comfortable setting and maintaining healthy boundaries Reliable, organized, and self-motivated Able to work independently while also collaborating with a team Patient and compassionate while maintaining accountability Comfortable working with young adults experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, coaching, mentoring, education, social work, or related fields is preferred but not required. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Work Environment This is a highly relational and hands-on role within a transitional living environment. Staff work directly with residents in real-world settings rather than in a traditional institutional setting. $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
