GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for transporting clients to appointments, visitations, treatment centers, foster care facilities, and other required locations. Duties include coordinating and setting up visitation schedules, supervising parental visits and monitored telephone calls, and conducting parenting classes. The position also provides testimony in court regarding observations of clients and families when necessary. Additional responsibilities include assisting with file management, maintaining computer file entries and case narratives, and ensuring all information within the WYCAPS system is accurate and current. This position conducts in-home checks and supportive services, monitors urinalysis results, school attendance, and academic performance, and maintains thorough documentation of all client and child contacts. Regular communication with Social Services Workers regarding client progress and case plans is also an essential function of the role. Working for the State of Wyoming offers more than a paycheck.

REQUIREMENTS
•Agency requires that the successful applicant possess a valid driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of parenting. Knowledge of policies regarding child protection and benefits. Knowledge of the community or institution to be served.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Social Services Programs)
OR Education & Experience Substitution:
1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Social Services Programs)
