Executive Director - Sequoia

The Executive Director is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing facilities and/or operational areas within the Y, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and delivering high-impact results. This role also provides direct supervision and mentorship to their leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. The Executive leads the total operation of a YMCA branch, including membership, programs, facilities, volunteer and staff development, financial development/fundraising, community relations and collaborations with community agencies.

SALARY RANGE

$135,000.00 - $145,000.00/year

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent. Five or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency. Ability to lead total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of branch budget, and program development. Experience with digital programming preferred. Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to recruit top community leaders. Ability to effectively supervise & communicate and collaborate in a multi-faceted matrix management environment. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Proven track record of developing authentic relationships with others. Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.

YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred.
