Director of Social Services

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Social Services. As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our social services department. This is a leadership role that requires strong administrative skills, relationship management abilities, and a passion for working with people with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement programs and services to meet the needs of our residents
• Implement social service interventions that achieve treatment goals, address resident needs, link social supports, physical care and physical environment to enhance quality of life
• Ensure an ongoing quality assurance program, develop, and implement appropriate plans to correct deficiencies
• Provide guidance and support to staff in delivering high-quality services to residents
• Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Social Work or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work in a nursing home setting
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
