Social Services Director (Skilled Nursing Facility)
Location:
Greater Tampa, FL Area A well-established skilled nursing facility in the Greater Tampa area is seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Services Director to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about advocating for residents and ensuring high-quality psychosocial care.
Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive social services program Advocate for residents and support their psychosocial well-being Conduct psychosocial assessments and assist with care planning Provide support to residents and families during transitions and throughout their stay Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed to practice Social Work in the state of Florida OR Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work or a human service field (including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology) and at least one year of supervised social work experience in a healthcare setting working directly with elderly individuals Why Join Us?
