Start your career in public service . The Administrative Review Team Manager is a member of the Safety Section. This position is responsible for managing the Administrative Review Team (ART) to provide the field with practice guidance on the review process and monitor the outcomes of the first level reviews. The ART is responsible for conducting the second level reviews, monitoring the outcome of the third level review, and providing the individual with the final results of the review. Additionally, the ART performs all requested IONS screenings for child serving agencies. This position will supervise 2-3 Administrative Review Team members. L Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Coordinates the activities of social service or community programs. Oversees the program or organization's policies regarding participant involvement, requirements, and benefits.Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision for 2-3 Administrative Review Team members. Ensures the notice of substantiations and requested administrative reviews are processed in accordance with established timeframe and policy. Ensures the IONS screenings are processed in accordance with established timeframe and policy. Provides community training as needed for IONS screenings. Reviews and monitors compliance with ART policies and procedures. Participates in statewide meetings and stakeholder initiatives as requested. Provide training forRBWO/DSP
units as requested. Manage the IONS Help Desk, including troubleshooting issues with constituents. Ensure Data Requests are processed/completed and tracked, as necessary. Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned. Analyzes and assesses the effectiveness of existing review processes to ensure the identified outcome measures are achieved. Builds and encourages a cooperative team-oriented environment within unit(s) and with other agencies and providers. Interviews, hires, directs, trains, evaluates the performance of, and when necessary, disciplines and discharges social services employees. Ability to work effectively at multiple levels of the organization and with multiple teams. Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.Core Competencies:

OR Supervisory role; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level Social Svcs Prgm Mgr 3 (SSP022) or position equivalent.Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience: Master's degree in social work (MSW) or a closely related field. Extensive child welfare experience, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory or management capacity. In-depth knowledge and experience in child welfare programs. Strong initiative and self-direction, with the ability to work independently and effectively coordinate with individuals and teams. Advanced analytical skills including the ability to apply findings from law or other research to inform policy development Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience producing technical documents and delivering presentations.
