Social Services Director

Social Services Director At Austin Oasis we provide comprehensive medical and psychiatric services both acute and long term. We are a Joint Commission Approved facility certifying us as a provider of the highest quality services. We are looking for a Social Services Director to join our team and lead our Social Services Department.

Duties Include:

Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides for support services for residents and families. Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the residents. Serves in a management capacity as a representative of the facility administration Provides for therapeutic intervention to help residents cope with the social and psychological aspects of their illnesses, impairments, or disabilities

Qualifications:

Degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field. (Masters preferred) 1+ year experience of supervisory experience. 3+ years' experience working with persons with severe mental illness in a facility setting.
