Director of Social Services The Bostonian Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, located in the Neponset neighborhood of Dorchester, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Social Services to join our leadership team. Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the Social Services department Support residents and families through admissions, discharge planning, and care transitions Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Advocate for residents' psychosocial well-being and quality of life Collaborate closely with nursing, rehab, admissions, and interdisciplinary teams Mentor and support social services staff

Qualifications:

Massachusetts Licensed Social Worker required (LSW/LCSW/MSW) Prior skilled nursing or healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of long-term care regulations and discharge planning Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Compassionate and team-focused approach
