This dynamic role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven leader who is passionate about advancing mission-driven work through fundraising, storytelling, and community engagement. Based in Fall River, MA , this position plays a key role in shaping and executing our fundraising and community advancement strategy to support long-term organizational growth and impact. What You'll Do as
Director of Community Advancement and Philanthropy :
Lead and execute a comprehensive fundraising and community advancement strategy Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders Drive growth in individual, major, corporate, and institutional giving Oversee events, campaigns, and community engagement initiatives Guide communications strategy, including storytelling, appeals, and digital engagement Partner with the CEO and Board on donor strategy and organizational sustainability Lead, mentor, and grow the development team Oversee CRM systems, reporting, and fundraising performance metrics What You'll Need as
Director of Community Advancement and Philanthropy:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred (may substitute for some experience) 5-7 years of experience in fundraising, development, or public service 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a nonprofit setting Experience with donor relations, grants, events, and development operations Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills Experience with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making Passion for mission-driven work; human services experience a plus Who You Are as Director of Community Advancement and Philanthropy A collaborative and inspiring leader who builds strong relationships A strategic thinker with a growth mindset A strong communicator and storyteller Passionate about community impact, inclusion, and advocacy
