Job Description
Job Summary The Interim Director of Social Services is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the social services programs within our organization. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage relationships with patients, families, vendors, and coworkers, develop and implement programs, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and behavioral health, with a passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. MUST have LTC experience. MUST be a licensed social worker in the state of Massachusetts. Medway Country Manor is a 120 bed facility, privately owned and operated. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of social services programs that meet the needs of clients and align with organizational goals. Supervision of the social service assistant, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. Foster positive relationships with community partners, families, and clients to promote collaboration and resource sharing. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in social work practices. Advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met through appropriate services and support systems. Skills Strong relationship management skills to build rapport with clients, staff, and community partners. Knowledgeable in behavioral health practices to address the needs of diverse populations. Experienced in program management to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Background in social work with a focus on working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Capable of supervising staff while fostering a collaborative team environment. Adept at program development to create innovative solutions that enhance service delivery. Strong administrative skills to maintain accurate records and documentation related to social services programs. This role is essential in driving our mission forward by ensuring that our social services are impactful, efficient, and responsive to the needs of our community.
