Job Description
Step into a dynamic leadership role where impact meets innovation. As the Youth Development & Education Assistant Director, you'll help create engaging, high-quality programs that empower youth beyond the classroom. From mentoring staff and shaping culturally responsive curriculum to ensuring compliance and using data to drive success, you'll bring grant-funded initiatives to life. This role blends strategy with hands-on support - visiting program sites, coaching teams, and building strong partnerships, all while creating meaningful experiences for students. What You'll Do:
Support implementation of 21st Century MDE grant programs Ensure compliance with Michigan childcare licensing requirements Supervise Site Coordinators & program staff Visit program sites to observe, support, and strengthen programming Coach and mentor staff through feedback and professional development Assist with grant budgets, reporting, and data tracking (Nexsys) Help develop program goals and measure outcomes Support curriculum development and program quality improvements Collaborate with school partners and internal teams Assist with staff hiring, training, and evaluations Step in to support site operations as neededWhat We're Looking For:
Experience working in youth development, education, or human services Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills Organized and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Experience with grants, compliance, or data tracking is a plusRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, etc.) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredEOE Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:
