Job Description

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Sutherland is now hiring a Social Service Director! We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Service Director to lead our social services department. The ideal candidate will develop and oversee programs that support the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of our residents/clients. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW) or related field. 2 years of experience in social services, preferably in an LTC/SNF or similar healthcare setting 1 year of management/supervising experience Strong knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social service programs that meet the needs of residents/clients. Provide counseling, support, and advocacy for individuals and families. Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to enhance holistic care. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and reports on services provided. Establish relationships with community agencies and resources. Train and supervise social work staff (if applicable).
