Job Description

NAFI Connecticut provides programs, consultation, and support services in a variety of settings across Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island. We work with adults, children, and families to increase communication and social skills, improve relationships, increase circles of support, and provide therapeutic services based on best-practice research. We believe that people can change, and we work to empower each individual in their own care.
Brief Job Description :
We are exploring candidates for a Full-time community-based Therapist position for our evidence-based PLL model. Position will serve English-speaking clients, run groups, and conduct weekly home visits with families throughout the Westchester County area.
Responsibilities Include:
Complete intakes and basic assessments for new families. Provide family therapy using the PLL model (We will provide training in this model) Co-lead small PLL groups with a Case Manager. Help families set goals and stay on track. Connect youth and families to helpful community resources. Offer flexible support, including occasional evenings. Work closely with DSS and the treatment team to support family needs. Keep clear, timely notes on services provided. Be part of a supportive team and participate in regular team meetings. Provide occasional on-call support as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
Education (Required): Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field. Licensure (Required): License eligible (Preferred): License eligible, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC. Experience (Required): Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
