Job Description

PsychPros is currently recruiting for a well respected non-profit in the Cincinnati area seeking a full-time Social Services Manager. For this job opening, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, at least 2 years working in a case management/services coordinator role working to lead/co-lead a team of dedicated social service professionals. In this role, you'll be helping to provide guidance, training and supervision in a wrap around service environment (providing resources and identifying additional community services for those in need). Additionally, the Services Manager is the initial contact for all volunteers. The social service team will work with clients seeking resources to assist with needs such as utility assistance, food assistance and sheltering needs. The team will help assess for eligibility and gather all documentation needed to provide services.
Responsibilities and Job Duties include:
Lead/Co-lead a team of Social Service Advocated to provide emergency assistance Review Cases for accuracy Assist in developing procedures and policies to ensure compliance Provide whole-person level of care for clients in assessing the overall needs of the individuals seeking assistance Prepare case notes Work with Volunteer Manager to support volunteer staff
Qualifications:
2-3 years of serving clients at poverty level Bachelor's degree preferred in a social service related field (psychology, social work, etc.) Strong Communication Skills IND123 Leadership experience Ability to work under pressure in time sensitive manner Must have reliable transportation in order to travel between sites as needed.
