Job Description

Overview Work Location:
Delaware, Ohio:
Classification :
Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 37.5 hours/week, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
Job Focus:
This position is responsible for case management services including crisis intervention/emergency lodging, housing search, case plans, financial literacy/budgeting, transportation, employment search/linkage, referral and linkage to community resources. Other duties include completion of client intake and assessment forms, data collection, and HMIS entry.

Work Environment:
regular one on one meetings with supervisor, opportunity to serve on employee committee. Qualifications An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army's Mission Licensed social worker preferred Experience working with persons facing housing crisis and/or homelessness preferred Experience working with Veteran population preferred Strong work ethic Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to maintain strict confidentiality At least 21 years old with a valid Ohio Driver's license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards.
