Job Description

Surest Path Recovery Center is a substance use disorder facility and is now hiring for a Director of Administrative Services (Human Resources Director). This position is a full time, salaried position that works Monday-Friday. Prior experience working/directing Human Resources is required. A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. This individual must be fluent with computer use; typing skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, preferred. Strong organizational skills and filing skills required. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents. The Director of Administrative Services is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the department leaders. The Director of Administrative Services is also responsible for setting up and maintaining the personnel files; completing payroll; coordinating the interviewing and hiring process for each department leader; handling benefits administration; and maintaining the employee data base. This position must interface with other team members to answer benefit questions and handle problems as they occur. Occasional small group presentations will be required for training staff and community resources. Is responsible for managing the front desk, including but not limited to, helping and directing the public, and answering the telephones and routing calls.. Assists with inquiries, presentations and tours as directed by the Executive Director. Follows policies and procedures as outlined on company portal. Assisting the Executive Director and department leaders with office-related tasks. Organizing job applications for department leaders to use to fill vacant positions as needed, or interviewing and hiring for positions for the department leaders as designated. Provides training for all staff and community resources regarding jobs, benefits, etc., and assures that on-going training is provided as specified. Keeping personnel files current and in compliance with state and federal laws and rules. Completes any other duties as assigned. Duties Lead comprehensive talent acquisition strategies including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation to attract top talent. This includes advertising open positions Oversee employee relations programs to promote a positive work environment and resolve conflicts effectively through negotiation and conflict management techniques. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as and other relevant regulations. Manage Human Resources employee portal to streamline HR processes including payroll, benefits administration, and data analysis. Develop and implement performance management systems, employee evaluation procedures, succession planning initiatives, and training & development programs to foster continuous growth. Supervise employee evaluation, and program management. Oversee workers' compensation claims processes while maintaining safety standards in collaboration with OSHA guidelines. Drive process improvements in HR operations through data collection and analysis to optimize organizational design and change management efforts. Requirements Proven experience supervising HR teams with strong leadership skills in human capital management and strategic planning. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, conflict management, employee relations, and employee evaluation techniques. Strong skills in data analysis for HR metrics including recruiting trends, performance data collection, and process improvement initiatives. Must demonstrate computer literacy and be competent in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and Outlook programs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership and diverse audiences. Experience managing budgets related to HR programs while ensuring compliance with contracts and organizational policies. Ability to lead change management initiatives effectively within a fast-paced environment while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
