DIRECTOR OF INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY SERVICES
The Club for Boys | Rapid City, SDJOB TYPE
Full-Time, Salaried Exempt SALARY:
$45,000- 55,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience
ABOUT THE CLUB FOR BOYS
The Club for Boys is dedicated to providing positive experiences that develop self-esteem and character in a caring, safe, and fun environment for all boys. We serve hundreds of boys each year through afterschool, summer, athletic, educational, and recreational programming.POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Individual & Family Services provides leadership and oversight for services supporting Club members and their families. This role focuses on addressing behavioral, social, and basic-needs challenges that may interfere with successful participation in Club programs while also strengthening families through advocacy, referrals, and coordinated support.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
: Support members experiencing behavioral or social-emotional challenges. Develop behavior plans, re-entry plans, and intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians. Coordinate referrals and community resources. Support families during crises or major life events. Collaborate with schools and community partners. Maintain behavior reports, referrals, and required documentation. Assist staff with behavior guidance strategiesQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in counseling, youth development, social work, or related field. Experience working with at-risk youth and families. Strong communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Positive relationship-building skills with youth and adults. Valid driver's license required Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. Community Health Worker certification (or ability to obtain) preferredSCHEDULE
